Ryan loves Hip Hop & Streetdance, and wants to share that love and respect that he has for it. Ryan strives to expand his vocabulary, knowledge and level up constantly, humbly, and keep the perspective of always being a student. Aside from battling and teaching, he loves theatre work and creating choreography. He is one of our MVP's and is actively battling in various cities as well as training/expanding his knowledge.

    This class is designed for beginners new to Hip Hop or in the process of learning its foundational elements.

    Learn the iconic Hip Hop party dances from the '80s and '90s to today, including the Alf, Bart Simpson, Biz Markie, Lite Feet, and James Brown. This class also covers choreography, across-the-floor drills, and the latest moves and grooves that define the style.

  • Hip Hop Intermediate
  • *INDOOR SHOES REQUIRED*

    This class is for intermediate dancers aiming to expand their Hip Hop skills, refine technique, rhythm, and style, and work at a quicker pace.
     
    Learn the Hip Hop party dances of the 80′s and 90′s to the present day -including the Alf, Bart Simpson, Biz Markie, Lite Feet and James Brown, as well choreography, across the floor, and the latest dance moves and the grooves that make this dance unique.

  • Absolute Beginner Hip Hop
  • *INDOOR SHOES REQUIRED* 
     
    This class is designed for ABSOLUTE beginners with no prior dance experience. You'll learn the basic foundations of Hip Hop, including key moves, rhythm, and groove, in a fun and supportive environment. Step by step, you'll build your confidence and develop a solid understanding of the style.
     
     All levels are welcome but the pace of this class will be for ABSOLUTE beginners.

  • Breaking Intermediate
  • *INDOOR SHOES REQUIRED*
     
    This intermediate class is designed for B-Boys and B-Girls with a basic understanding of breaking elements, including footwork, top rocking, go-downs, and freezes. The focus will be on enhancing flow, power moves, and freezes. The class will move at a faster pace, challenging dancers to elevate their skills and progress to the next level.

    Breaking, the original dance of Hip Hop culture, is commonly referred to as B-Boying or B-Girling, NOT "breakdance" (a commercial term). It originated in the Bronx, New York City, in the 1970s, created by Black and Latino youth, though its elements can be traced back earlier.

  • 90's Hip Hop Open Level

    This open-level class is designed for all skill levels, with instruction tailored to the average abilities of the participants. Whether you're a beginner or have more experience, the class will provide a fun and challenging environment for everyone.
     
    Step back into the 90's with this high-energy Hip Hop class, where you'll learn iconic moves from the golden era of Hip Hop. From the Running Man to the Cabbage Patch, you'll master the foundational steps and grooves that defined the 90s dance scene. Get ready to vibe to throwback beats while sharpening your technique and style!

    This introductory breaking class is for beginners taking their first class, or those looking to refresh their knowledge of the basics. The focus will be on Footwork and Top Rocking.
